Get Ready for International Astrology Day!

Like all professions, astrology has its own professional organizations, with two of the largest host events around the world to support professional astrology as well as provide information for those who want to learn more about this field, and both are holding numerous events in celebration of international astrology day.

Get prepared for International Astrology Day and the spring equinox

International Astrology Day is observed and celebrated on the same day as the spring equinox, which varies between March 19-21 of each year.

Of course, many astrology groups will be making a weeklong celebration out of it.

The event is also something of a New Year’s Day celebration, as the vernal equinox is also regarded as the first day (or beginning) of the astrological year.

This is the first day (and the tropical zodiac) of Aries.

NCGR International Astrology Day events

In celebration, the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR) is holding an online webinar instructing all about “zero point” in your astrology chart and how each signed personally comes alive during each spring equinox.

See their website for more information (URL below).

AFAN International Astrology Day events

Another group that will be celebrating is the Association for Astrological Networking (AFAN) who is supporting a number of global international astrology day events.

About the Association for Astrological Networking

The Association for Astrological Networking (AFAN) seeks to enhance, protect, and validate the important role astrologers and astrology play in today’s society. Their top priority is media accountability and public information.

Acting as a watchdog, AFAN monitors the press and responds, correcting inaccurate or biased print and electronic media accounts.

AFAN is a network that is designed to provide helpful resources and material, including legal information. In the case of the latter, AFAN’s Legal Information Committee has been successful in changing laws restrictive to the practice of astrology.

Additionally, AFAN works with other organizations and individuals to provide funding for various astrological projects, grants and scholarships, as well as does work in astrological education, sponsors International Astrology Day, and co-produces along with other astrological organizations the United Astrology Conference (UAC).
