Astrology has given certain signs of the zodiac traits that make them failed to acknowledge personal responsibility in many situations. These signs suffer from what’s called a “persecution complex.”
Because of this, when they find themselves in a situation where they want to avoid blame, they will play the “victim card” as an excuse to take any responsibility for what has transpired upon themselves.
Here are the horoscopes for the four signs most likely to play the victim card.
1. Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Due to their low self-esteem, Cancer always feels persecuted and plays the victim card at every turn. They believe that if something bad is going to happen – it’s bound to happen to them first.
This leads Cancer to procrastinate out of fear. They have very little trust in others and are suspicious of everything and everyone.
It causes problems in relationships, as Cancer is convinced their significant other is doing things behind their back. And when something bad happens, Cancer is quick to point to it as justification for their beliefs and suffering.
2. Scorpio (October 23-November 21)
Scorpio is the sign of the zodiac that suffers the most from a prosecution complex. They definitely operate on the assumption that others are out to get them.
This gives Scorpio ample justification for playing the victim card, as they already knew the deck was stacked against them.
Scorpio is highly suspicious by nature and trusts very few people. Scorpio is envious of the success of others, typically believing the achievements of their rivals were gained unfairly, and were more deserved and well-earned by themselves.
3. Pisces (February 19-March 20)
Self-pitying Pisces was born to play the victim card. Pisces can be a bit spaced out, not always on the same page with what’s happening in reality.
They tend to be a sensationalist, driven by an overly emotional and highly sensitive nature. Pisces will dramatize a situation to make more out of it – or do the opposite – seemingly oblivious to the true reality.
As a way protecting themselves from blame and responsibility, Pisces is very secretive. To deflect confrontation or own up to their role in a situation, Pisces will simply make an escape in order to avoid dealing with what’s happening.
4. Virgo (August 23-September 22)
Virgo suffers from a profound case of perfectionism. They are highly self-righteous and, thus, cannot fathom the possibility that they could ever do anything wrong.
Things that happen certainly aren’t their fault. Virgo is extremely intolerant of criticism and argumentative, refusing to accept blame.
Virgo has a very petty side, too, in which they play the victim card as a way of denying they could have made a mistake or hold any responsibility when something isn’t right.
