Best friends forever. There are all types of friends. How many types of friends depends on who you speak to, but the great Greek philosopher Aristotle gives us a very excellent guide to friendships.
Aristotle said there were three types of friendships: Those based on utility (mutual usefulness), those based on pleasure or delight (friends you share interests or hobbies with, drinking buddies or friends with benefits), and those rooted in virtue, which are fully developed friendships where values, principles, and morals are shared.
This third type is also one where it’s a selfless friendship.
It is this third type that astrology has given the following four zodiac signs traits which make them the most likely to form and establish a bond with other people that will last a lifetime.
1. Capricorn (December 22-January 19)
Capricorn is very choosy about everything in life, always seeking the highest quality, and that aim is no different when selecting friends.
It’s not about quantity with Capricorn – it’s all about quality. While Capricorn is generally a leader in life, they are more compromising when it comes to their closest friends – wanting to see them happy.
Capricorn’s positive traits come out in full bloom around friends, being honest, thoughtful, responsible, and loyal.
2. Leo (July 23-August 22)
Leo is likely to have lots of different types of friends, but the circle of friends they form the tightest lifelong bonds with is a tight one.
Leo is an extremely loyal sign, one that always has their friend’s backs. Leo can always be counted on, they are generous and are the type that would go anywhere and do anything to support their friends.
Leo is high-minded, noble, and would never do anything intentionally to hurt or betray their friends.
3. Virgo (August 23-September 22)
Virgo is picky about everything in life and is equally choosy when it comes to friends. Virgo isn’t about to waste time on people that complicate their life.
However, that does not mean Virgo only chooses friends that are beneficial to them. Virgo has an inborn need to be helpful, so they want a friend that needs them, too.
While Virgo has a reputation for being fussy, they unleash all their best qualities on their close friends: Being helpful, kind, compassionate, sympathetic and extremely dedicated.
4. Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Taurus may be stubborn and opinionated, but that’s part of what makes them such a dedicated, loving and loyal friend.
Taurus stands behind and backs up what they believe in, and that is especially true with friendships. Taurus will always be in your corner, through thick and thin, no matter what, even at times when you might not exactly be in the right – they’ll still defend you.
Taurus is enduring in everything they do, which means they tend to form friendships that leftist a lifetime.
